At the start of 2006, the KS Pistons division acquired the OEM pistons business of Pistones Moresa, Celay, Mexico. Since 1956 this company has been building gasoline and diesel engine pistons for passenger car and commercial vehicle manufacturers and commands extensive capacities, longstanding production expertise, plus all the standard manufacturing technologies.
For KS Pistons, the move means a expansion of capacity and a further step toward consolidating its position in the important North American market. Operating under the name KS de México, the company produces gasoline and diesel pistons for passenger car and commercial vehicle engines.
