Presently over 200 engineers and technicians are cooperating in close customer proximity at the development centers in Neckarsulm, Germany, in Fort Wayne, USA, in Nova Odessa, Brazil, and in Hiroshima, Japan, for the purpose of advancing current piston concepts and developing new types of piston designs, materials and surface coatings in order to address the rising demands on gasoline and diesel engines.
Supplementing these development efforts are close collaboration and contacts with various universities and research institutes in Germany and abroad.
