Finish-MachiningKS Aluminium-Technolgie adopted the finish-machining of engine blocks as a comparatively new business activity several years ago. This involves not only so-called cubing, i.e. the pre-machining of the exterior surfaces, the drilling, the subsequent honing of the cylinder faces and crankshaft bearing holes but also the finishing (including the mating of the top and lower sections on two-part designs) of the entire block.
KS Aluminium-Technologie thus supplies finished components that do not require any further machining on the part of the engine manufacturer and can go straight into final assembly. Thanks to this complete machining and the associated quality inspections, KS Aluminium-Technologie is capable of satisfying the highest quality standards required by the OEM in the construction of engine blocks.
